Hi I have been reading a few threads regarding deposits and I have a couple of questions: I moved into my current home 6 months ago and I have not received any details of how my deposit is protected. Is says on my AST: "Deposit is held by the Landlord in a stakeholder capacity in a nominated clients' account" Does this mean that the landlord is holding the deposit rather than putting it with a protection scheme like the DPS which is what he should do by law? Also as I am still living at the property am I able to take my landlord to court with regards to section 214 of the Housing Act 2004? Should I contact my landlord to be sure that he has not secured my deposit before starting court procedures? Any help would be great? Matt
