  5. Hello everyone.. Years ago on the site i claimed back thousands of bank charges. ppi complaints were only just appearing back then so whenever i took anything out i refused any ppi anyway its never clicked before but suddenly at 0330 just as i was about to go to bed when a light bulb flashed above my head ive been paying £45 per month since 2002 for mprtgage protection.... is this ppi. came straight on the site and ive started reading threads, i will continue reading but hoping for a quick heads up in relation to my thoughts in 2002 i took out my first mortgage with alliance and leicester and was sold a legal and general mortgage protection policy.. i remember being told this is a requirement of the mortgage.. so does my light bulb have ££££££ in it.. ps.. amazing the amount of bank charges that have been reclaimed since i won my case.. i remember the ££££ claimed back counter being £6 million lololol thanks in advance for any advice and well done to you all
  6. i had a holiday booked to singapore then onto bali then lombok. i have received a call from kuoni saying they made a mistake with our transfers meaning we either have to take an extra days holiday or shorten the holiday by 1 day. either way on our return from lombok they are saying we have to stay at a hotel overnight to wait for the connection. i do not want an extra day because my partner and myself are self employed and we will lose m oney in lost wages and dont want to shorten b ecause we were only staying in lombok 3 days so not really worth being there for just 2 days.. they have given me the option of 1)doing what they say above 2)or just stay in singapore for 4 nights and cancel the rest of the holiday for £400 off the cost... considering the holiday was £3700 for 10 nights they are charging me £3300 for 4 nights in singapore... 3) or the last option is to cancel and i would lose my deposit and have to pay charges to the airline im wanting to cancel but how can i be charged when the mistake in the booking is their own??? a pre-thasnks for any advice given lol

  10. just got back from court. abbey had faxed the settlement offer to the court so the judge ajourned it for 21 days and told me "i have dealt with many of these cases now and im sure you will get the money, however if not within 7 days contact the court to have the claim relisted" now wheres that template letter for preliminary approach for repayment for the £600 in charges ive paid since i started this claim;)
  11. gutted, i was so looking forward to going to court lol,,, but i suppose im glad its over now. so if my money isnt in the bank by 1030 in the morning i should phone the court and ask for a 20 day stay.
  12. so abbey didnt know they were in court with me tomorrow and have offered 100% for charges fees and all intrest and will try to get the money in my account before my hearing in the morning. it was suggested i should phone the court and ask for a 20 day stay as they are going to pay me but could someone advise me if i should take this at face value or still turn up in court???? after 324 days the abbey finally gave up, cant wait to go to bluewater abbey and withdraw the cash from the cashier who laughed at me saying i didnt know what i was talking about lolololololololololol ive won. yippee meeeeeeeee!!!!!!
