  3. WE should have a competition for the biggest monthly charge - mine was £380 in Dec 2003! Good luck - I hope you nail the bastards
  4. Well thanks to this forum I sent my preliminary letter requesting a refund to Lloyds today. The rest of my statements came today and the spreadsheet showed £2125 + £485 interest owed. Odd thing I noticed was that during 2005 I had very few charges at all, even though the statement still showed returned DD and returned cheques. Now the wait begins .........
  5. This is my first post - so please forgive any breach of etiquette! I requested my statements, by letter, from Lloyds as suggested here and even hurried them with an e-mail for good measure. About 10 days later my letter box was overflowing and i found 99 sheets of statements, numbered consecutively from 1 onwards. Sheet 22 ended on 4/10/02 and sheet 23 started on 14/1/05. I called them up and eventually got through to my branch who said this this was an error caused by the system having to go over 100 sheets. Apparently the missing years were available but restarted as a second sheet 1 and so were not "duplicated". Has anyone else had this problem since I would imagine that even a couple of years of statements would go over the 100 page limit of their system? Perhaps the group is straining it too much.
