  1. I sent them, to the court manager and HSBC 3 times - get the impression they don't know what they're doing?
  2. Thanks Freaky Interestingly, although I haven't sent a nudging letter yet (well I am busy) DGs have written to me today to ask for a fully itemised breakdown so that they are able to address my claim and reach a potential resolution to this matter. Could mean anything, but it is interesting that they blinked first. Breakdown accompanied by modified nudging letter will be in the post 1st class recorded tomorrow.
  3. Direction hearing scheduled for 16th August and still no mention of a fee I still haven't sent a nudging letter yet and HSBC/DG seem to be ignoring me. I will send one now saying that I hope to meet them on 16th August in the court.
  4. Spoke to Peterborough court yesterday and was told that they wouldonly require the fee if the judge requests an AQ. If they do, they will write asking for it and not just expect me to pay within a certain time period. I was quite impressed, but it would be nice if the courts showed some consistency.
  5. Letter received from Northampton CC with order to move proceedings to Peterborough. AQ dispensed with, which is great.......but there is a line on the order that says "an allocation fee MAY be payable in this instance. Please conatct the court of transfer for further details". Not only are they cheeky enough to ask for the allocation fee without an AQ, but they don't even write asking for it. I have to write and ask them if they want it (?) Letter sent to court manager today - maybe they will say they don't want my £100.
  6. Castlebest - Is that the same everywhere or are different courts taking different directions? Think I would prefer no AQ - It means we can get straight down to the scrap
  7. Guess the date was right, defence entered 18th April. Just waiting for how the local court will deal with it now...
  8. MCOL sent online late on night of 19th Issued 20th ACKNOWLEDGED 22nd Soooooo.............Does that mean they have until 19th April to enter a defence now?
  9. MCOL completed and schedule sent to court manager last night. I am really interested to see which way they are going to play this. YES- Bank baiting is great fun - It should become an olympic sport!
  10. Sent the LBA 10 days ago and am Waiting to see what happens........MCOL on Tuesday and the strange thing is that (secretly and perversely) I am looking forward to that part!
  11. Nice letter from Colin Langdale today, saying that they will "look into the issue I have raised". Aren't they nice!!!! Next letter goes off on Monday
  12. Nettyg - don't worry about stealing the thread, you haven't really - There's a lot of useful stuff in there - AND it is good to treat this thing as a community enterprise rather than as a serious dry legal issue. Phoenix seems to have a lot of experience and the offer of help is greatly appreciated (he also seems like a total nutter - but there you go) I will keep this thread running with the latest info as it happens (sorry to sound like a CNN anchorman)
  13. Is the process exactly the same for credit card charges?
  14. Well done - Enjoy YOUR money at last You have to hope this is really hurting them
  15. Ok here we go They owe me a fortune and I am going after them at last Sent the prelim letter to Canada square on 19th Feb so we will have to wait and see now Am I sick - I am really looking forward to the whole fight  BRING IT ON!!
