Hi all, would appreciate some help I received today a letter back from Lloyds which I pressume is a fob off letter, saying '' they are sorryto hear I am unhappy,, etc... and that quote The office of Fair trading has published new guidelines on credit card default charges, we're still talking it through with them , but the important point is that the guidelines are about 'default' charges thatpeople pay when they break an agreement with us. This doesnt apply to your charges as these were for dealing with your request to go over your agreed overdraft limit. that are not default charges because you havent broken your agreement. They are our prices for the service we provide in these situations'' unquote they then go on to say they cant agree to cancel these charges Is this just a fob off ?? would really appreciate any help Mnay thanks Snoop

Hi all just about to total up all the charges and send it with my prelim letter; just a quick couple of questions which Im still confused about, which of these can I claim for ; Account Charge - £10 - seems to be same day every month, Im a gold account memeber if that makes any difference so Im just wandering if that payment is for the extras u get with that account type, i.e travel insurance, mobile phone insurance, breakdown cover.... Overdraft Usage Fee ?? Overdraft Interest ?? would appreciate any help thanks guys & gals Snoop

Nik thanks for the info, Ive just typed out my prelim letter and done the speadsheet with interest calculator. Just one thing though that Im still confused about; On the prelim letter template, it says quote; I calculate that you have taken £xxxx plus £xxx which you have charged me in overdraft interest for the sum which you have taken. Total £xxxxx I enclose a schedule of the charges which I am claiming with this letter. unquote Now is that overdraft interest figure I put down the one from my statements which you posted in your first reply to me saying you couldnt claim that or is the interest thats already calculated on the exel speadsheet template ??? thanks again for you help Snoop

Hi all, Im pretty new to this site and am wanting to claim back charges like all of you, I recently got my statement of charges from LLoyds TSB but Im confused and Id really appreciate advice and help nn one question which of these charges can I claim back, they've catagorised them as the following; O/Draft Excess Fee Over draft Interest Account Charges Unpaid DD ???????? can I claim for all of these as in total they all add up to £1425 or can I only claim back some of these charges would really appreciate any help thanks and I wish you all weel with your claims:confused:
