HI i have joined the forum recently and wanted to say what a great site it is, i come on thinking i'll just stay for half an hour and 2 hours later.......... I am just about to put in a claim to Barclays for my past 6 years bank charges and thanks to you all and the information on here i feel much more comfortable about it. I really wanted to ask 2 questions, they will probably seem daft but those are the ones i seem to specialize in! Firstly i am one of those sad people that have kept all their previous bank statements, so am i right in thinking that i don't have to ask the bank for any further information as regards to my bank charges (as i have listed them on a spreadsheet) secondly, as these excessive charges are now deemed unlawful, how are the banks still getting away with charging them now?
