  2. HI good on you they seem to be copying loans4logbooks totally diferent company like to see them clamp my 4x4:D
  3. if you never gave them the log book then thy need to take you to small claims court same as provident surely did they not ask for copies of log book ins or mot cert, if it were me i would drop the payments but first go see cab or a solicitor on a free 30 min appoint,go for it.
  4. hi everyone, my hsband and i are in the same boat with LBL we have come up with an idea but not able to share with anyone as it may not be legal. Anyway last night i was doing a bit of research on the net looking at log book loans did any of you know there are at least 2 LBL companies but if you go on there website and click on there company number you can look at few details not much i looked at company credit search some of it is less than favourable for £18.00 you can look at a script about striking off maybe someone as tried this. also if you look at another company loans4logbooks.co.uk they keep eveything logbook insurance document and mot certificate without these they cant claim the vehicle if needed. maybe f enough of us shouted the office of fair trading could look into this company also as anyoneactually ben served with a court order to regain posession of the vehicle by log book loans i thought it had to be done by court of the area of residence of customer. our rep told us about a bloke in london wo had 50,000 loa and never paid and they never got the car back ever. makes you think dont it
  5. hi everyone i'm new to this, please be patient with me lol. about lbl my hubby and i took out a loan and have got behind on our payments too i read on some of this that the bill of sale is hard to get out of them but we have ours the charge for credit is more than the actual loan which is rediculous, however i have asked an official body to investigate this company and its dealings. have any of you had any success with obtaining vehicle tax with a photcopied V5 our p/o will not accept this they said we could have stole the vehicle (yeah right). we get a letter every 5 days which incurrs 12.00 charge so i wrote to them and asked it to be stopped and a date when i'll catch up payments let's see what happens next week. thank you for reading
