  1. Hi people Had my Pre-trial hearing last week. Must admit was very nervous, didn't know what to expect, however I came out feeling really confident about my case. The judge explained that in MOST cases banks have settled before the pre trial hearing. He also infomred me that although he will set a court hearing date for early Sept he feels it will be very unlikely it will get to that stage as Barclays will settle. Although very pleasant, the solicitor representing Barclays was told by myself that with the help of this website I know that the longer the bank drag this out the more interest i'm due back (she wrote that bit down) ha !!! keep you posted Aims
  2. Thanks for this. Read through it before, to be truthful I think I'm a bit out of my depth now. Going to make an appointment with a solicitor to represent me at the actual hearing - dont want anything to go wrong, i'm due back over £3500 so it's personal...... Once again thanks
  3. Advice Needed ASAP Can someone advise please, have a pre-trial hearing with barclays tomorrow, (was hoping they would settle out of court), obviously not. Have spoke to gregg from the banks legal team who has informed me that a solicitor will be attending on the banks behalf. What should I expect ????
  4. thanks for the quick response. Basically barclays defence and counter claim is stating that because the claim is for unauthorised borrowings, "paid referral fees" going over an autorised overdraft fee etc. The questionaire is an "allocation questionaire" Hope this is enough info Aimee
  5. Hi Can someone help please. Just found out Barclays are defending the claim i've made. I've recieved a notice of transer of proceedings form the county court, attached to this is a "questionaire" which I have to complete and also enclosed is a defence and counterclaim which has obviously been completed by barclays legal team - can someone advise if I need to visit a solicitor or will I just sigh the bloody thing Thanks everyone Aimee:shock:
