I have just joined and issued my PDA letter to the Abbey.

I left my council tenancy giving due notice to them, my sons had tried to take over the tenancy but this was refused with no reason give. As i was moving away from the area my sons stayed at the property over the weekend i moved to clear any belongings i wasnt taking and were due to hand in the keys. This they didnt do and told the council they were not going to move out, they applied for housing ben which was refused. Once they did move out in Sept 06, I then received a letter from them asking for 860.00 in rent which wasnt paid i disputed this as they knew my sons were there, this has now been passed to moorcroft who are threatening me with court or a bailiff. Im not sure what to do or if i have a leg to stand on in fighting this debt.
