The court date is only for a preliminary hearing so not a final date, do you know what happens here?? thanks
-
Cheers thesergeant, do you think that a and l will settle before the court date??

Hi Skudz, think i may be in the same boat as you, have had court date through but have not had to fill in an allocation questionnaire nor pay any further money, i'm just a bit concerned that when it comes to may court date at the end of july i won't be fully prepared. x

Hi Everyone, I have received in the post a notice of allocation to the small claims track (hearing). It states that the jdge has considered the statements of case and allocation questionnaire filed and allocated the claim to the small claims track. The date they have given is end of July. The only thing i;m wondering about here is that i haven't been told to complete an allocation questionnaire, i've had no futher correspndance from my local court since they sent me a letter to acknowledge my claim when it had been transferred from Northampton. Is anyone else not had to prepare this nor pay any extra money?? i thought there was a further sum to pay after the initial £120 for moneyonline?1?! Thanks everyone xx

Keep us posted with what the court says Jess68. Kate i also wonder what is happening but i'm glad i didn't accept their cheque, i thought it was some kind of joke, the amount was pitance compared to what i'm claiming back. I'm going to keep fighting, they have given £1000's back in charges so i don't see how my claim differs from any other, get real strength from this site knowing that i'm not alone and others are at the same stage etc xx

Cazawilson, i'm the same as you, got notification a few wks ago that the case had been transferred to my local court but i have not heard anything else since. From reading on here i believe that not all courts are sending these out as they believe the banks to be wasting time.................lets hope so xx

Hi Kate, i did get an offer for the £12, i sent it back to them with a lovely letter. Really hope things speed up with them, the whole thing seems to be taking ages. xx

I have received the defence from wragge and co and notification that it has been transferred to my local court, so just sitting tight at the mo and waiting for the next stalling tactic, seems to be going on for ages x

Hi Sam, You will get it back from a & l alongwith the charges, i was hesitant about spending the £120 but it is worth it if you get your charges back, that's the way i look at it, you have to be in it to win it so to speak and if you have to part with the £120 it will be worth it when a and l pay up. xx -

About to send letter 1 to A&L Reclaim charges help
nadirish replied to nadirish's topic in Alliance & Leicester
Thanks for taking the time to reply. I am new to this as you probably can tell, when making a claim against them, is it a lenghty and difficult process to follow and do you have to make an appearance in court?? Thanks -
Hi All, I'm wanting some advice if you can help I'm about to send off letter 1 to a & l to reclaim charges, the letter is the template from the BBC website. I have been charged a total of £2185 over the past 6 years in charges, which is a lot of money over the 6 years but i'm worried that they will not refund this and close my account. How far do they take it before issuing an offer?? i really do not want to get as far as the small claims court (the thought of it is enough to put me off) And do they close your account??? Any advise is greatly appreciated, thank you for your time
