Hi Guys, Due to the recent successes of a dear friend of mine in reclaiming some of his own money back, i have decided to try and get back some of mine. First up is Amex, I fell behind with my monthly payments on my amex gold credit card in 2005, i made the payments, albeit late, and was charged £20 each time. After around 5 late payments, they sold my "debt" to a third party and charged me £1,280.22 for the privilege, which just pushed me over my limit of £10k. Could anyone help with advising me if i might be able to get the £1,280.22 back. It's my first post and am not sure of the procedure for asking for advice in this way. I have since paid off the debt as the company that purchased it was very aggressive and basically frightened me into remortgaging my house to pay them off.
