Can you tell me what the daily interest charge, I think I saw 0.02% somewhere, not sure. thanks. MCOL have completed my claim, but they are requesting £80.00 which I don't have at this moment, I don't mind paying this when I receive the bank payment. 8. all I am trying to do is get a claim no, I am sorry, I haven't a clue, whatever you suggest as the easiest option I would be greatful. Mr Brown, I really Hope I do not put you off helping me. I have been through so much in my life, and nothing has reduced me to tears as trying to sort this out has. I have no support at home, and I am so greateful for all the help you are giving me. Please bare with me, I am really trying, and I am sorry if you keep repeating yourself, I have been on so many threads too, in the hope of seeing how they suceeded but most of it is just normal conversations, I have been on the FAQ and have tried to dig deeper, all I seem to find is advertisements, I have been on successes etc most seem to be expressing their grattitude and congratulation, I can never seem to find how they got the where they are now. Now you know why I am so confused. Sorry.
  9. I am on the Onlineform, their is a list of form numbers, which one do I select, I can't believe it has taken me this long to find a claim no, I desperately need one as I have only 4 days before the bank withdraws their offer. I have been all over, I have read everything I see on everysite and I am desperate and annoyed with myself and very confused now, I know it should be so easy to complete especially with your help, I am really trying my best but with so much written info, I just can't seem to get where I want and I was trying my best not to ask another stupid question. I have a list of hmcourts-services, form numbers, which one do I select. I have been on the Getting MCOL Right, saved a few pages, but that site has mainly replies to peoples questions, I can not see the advice given on how to get a claim no. etc.
  10. thank you, Ive found it, will get back to you if I need any more help
  11. Hello Mr Browne, thank you again for the help you have given me. I have found HMCS Money claim online, if I am in the right place, I was in the process of registering and will give full detail of claim etc. They ask for Credit card details, I have been reading so much info, but I still don't know how much they want me to pay. I would be greateful if you would confirm if I am doing right so far, If not please re-direct me. And would you know how much I pay them. The application said I will receive my claim no, etc when I have given them the card details. If I am still getting this all wrong, please help.
  12. thank you so much for your help and the information you've given me. I will get back to you as soon as I have completed the registration for MCOL.
  13. Hello Mr Browne, I am in a dilema at the moment, I was in the process of registering on MCOL and I am all for going the full hog. My husband now wants to accept their offer and terms and says if we now control our overdraft so we don't go over, we won't get any charges. He also says that if they charge us from now on it is still illegal by law to do so. I have said, it is still illegal but with our written concent we won't be able to claim any charges we receive from now on, or can take them to court. This is just the single account, I haven't received the Joint reply to my first letter yet. I really don't want to mess this up. I would really appreciate your advice about accepting their offer and terms.
  14. I cannot find the "submit" button on the page with the MCOL
  15. Thank you so much for your help I will get back to you once I have sorted this bit out.
  16. Yes everything you said is right exactly.
  17. thank you Mr Browne. How do I get a claim number. When I get two copies of the MCOL do I send one to the address on the letter, but do I send a copy of this letter to the person who has been dealing with my claim at Customer Relations. If not, The bank has only given me 10 days to reply after which they will withdraw their offer. Should I worry about this deadline or not?
  18. I had sent letter No 1, 2. this is the reply to my third letter not accepting their terms and conditions, only the charges and they were giving me 8 weeks to reply. I recieved their letter today, stating they would not accepting my offer, they are now giving me 10 days to reply. do I now take them to court, if so how do I start legal procedings?
  19. no Ive done nothing, Im waiting for advice on what to do next.
  20. ..."My offer was in full and final settlement with payment to the account designated and I regret that unless it is accepted in that manner it will be necessary to withdraw it. In the circumstances the offer is open for the next 10 days at which stage it will be withdrawn." What should I do now??
  21. thank you for your information this will be very helpful for me, I will be back when I have another reply. thanks for your help
  22. Thank you so much Michael. I would like to send a copy of this letter, because it can deceive anyone who hasn't the experience of dealing with these issues. The form they gave me to sign gives you the impression that it is only regarding the settlement, they have included a Ref:No, which isn't on the letter that came with it. I know it is illegal for us to sign an agreement we haven't been given the opportunity to read fully, and I am concerned that the letter with that ref:No on, is a more indepth contract we are agreeing to. If I delete my private detail,I would willingly send a copy and fax it to anyone interested for future reference. Also, the way they word it, people can be lead to believe they are only signing for the settlement. Most of these people have no one to help, and I am so greatful for all support and advice given, I will be back when I get a reply.
  23. Thank you, how do I get a county court number.
  24. They are only offering the charges if we sign the form and in the letter it says. To accept this offer in full and the final settlement, complete and sign the form. Then it goes on to say. Any charges that properly accrue in the future will be applied to your account in line with our published tariff and in accordance with your agreement with the bank. We feel that signing this form we are giving them permission to take out the charges in future, and we can't complain later.
  25. Hello Michael, thank you for your help, I found old thread, can't do anything about the name. Single Acccount. I have received a letter from bank, they offered the charges only, and two options, If I don't accept and sign the form they sent me, they say they may consider if they are prepared to continue with existing account, or an account that doesn't offer borrowing facilities. I am not signing, can you advise on next stage. I was in the process of sending a third letter, but I'm not sure, and I don't want to make any mistakes.
