  1. Thanks siena Ive only just sent my LBA today but i want to get everything in order ready for making my claim in 14 days time:)
  2. Hi Thanks for the reply:) Ive been doing some checking and i think i need to fill in the EX160 Application form . So i guess that i fill this form in plus the N1 form then take both of them to my local court when im ready to make a claim. Is this right?
  3. Am i right in thinking that if you are on benefits and exempt from paying court costs you cant use MCOL? If so what is the procedure for starting a court claim?
  4. spreadsheets I never bothered with the google one i used the advanced excel one, theres also a MS works and open office version You could also see this thread honeygie-sees-you-hsbc and go to post #9 made by the ever helpfull Lateralus:grin:
  5. Hi Mate I sent my prelim off yesterday and the address i used was: HSBC BANK PLC 8 CANADA SQUARE LONDON E14 5HQ To be honest i dont thnk it realy matters where you send it as it will end up at Canada square eventually. The only interest you charge at the prelim and LBA stage is overdraft interest. The 8% interest is added at the MCOL stage. As for the spreadsheets if i where you i would recalculate your charges on one of the spreadsheets provided in the library and also follow the step by step guide then that way you realy cant go wrong:grin: step-step-instructions
  6. Hello eveyone I already have my statements and im ready to send my prelim but before i do i have a few questions. 1) Which spread sheet should i use to work out how much i'm owed? Should i use (Throughout claim with contractual interest) or (Throughout claim with compounded contractual interest) Also whats the differance between them? 2) When using the spread sheet do i keep the percent rate at 8% or the banks current rate? 3) Which address do i send my prelim to? is it my local branch or Canada square? Thanks in advance:)
