  2. Hi lucyec many thanks for the reply and best wishes. I'm in the process of moving atm so will start the procces once I've settled as I believe these things can take a bit of time. I must admit though I do tend to waffle at times and don't make much sense so was thinking that maybe my post was a little confusing lol
  3. I'm guessing my post didn't make any sense Anyway I realise why I was charged interest, don't know why I even questioned that in the first place Well after reading through many of the great post's on this board I have come to the conclusion that I can claim back the £20 late fee and all the other late charges they added on previously. I'm going to try and claim these charges back. Wish me luck
  4. Hi all, On Feb 15th 2006 I paid my Tesco personal finance card in full well before the day it was due and next month to my surprise I then received a statement requesting £1.03 interest, surely I didn't owe this did I? Anyway they wanted the payment by 22nd March. I made a payment of £25 on the 23rd through my online banking to come out immediately (I paid £25 as I had used my card to pay my car insurance on the 28th of Feb and thought I would pay a little extra before my next statement) I have received a new statement this morning without the payment showing and they have also added a £20 late fee. I have phoned Tesco customer services and they have confirmed they received my payment on the 27th, I did ask them if they could waive the £20 fee but they refused. My questions are: where did they find this interest of £1.03 when I had paid the card up in full? How do they warrant a £20 fine on a supposed late payment? Can I claim the £20 back and dispute the £1.03 interest? Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks Vicki
