I am desperately wanting to reclaim all our money from bank charges but am really too scared of the consequences. Between the three accounts we hold we have been charged over £2400 in the last six years, however our overdrafts add up to over £4400. Even if the banks paid up in full with no battle, if they decided to retaliate by removing our overdraft limits we would be completely shafted. The only thing really stopping me from claiming is the fact that I just don't have a spare £2k if they demand repayment ( if I did we wouldn't be in this mess in the first place!! ). Is there anyone who could advise? Has anyone encountered this problem? If the answer is already on this site somewhere then I apologise but I can't find it. Hope you can help.
