OK I wish I was a little brighter, if someone tells you to look at something i,e. step-by-step guide, where does one go to find it?

Can some please tell me exactly what the costs are, when they will be required and at what time in the proceedings. I'm so confused I've been reading on here about trial bundles, AQ's etc etc, i'm just so worried I won't be able to handle all this and get it thrown out because of my stupidity, Does anyone have a link to a document or something that spells out exactly what could happen, costs etc for the dummies like me. Much appreciated

Ok nicsussex, thanks for the link but I have to say I'm even more confused about exactly what 'up front fees' and 'other fees down the track' I will have to pay? I think I understand my claim for £2000 means a court fee of £85.00 but trial fee, whats that? How much will it be? Hearing fee - again what? how much? Do I have to include these fees in my N1 and Particulars of Claim in the eventuality that this goes that far? What are the chances of it actually going to court? I mean I have had trouble getting the money together for the initial court fee, where do the fees stop? Will it mean not only will I have lost the bank charges I am claiming back but I will also be severely out of pocket from all the fees too? I'm so worried that I will be spending more money to fight this now and if the OFT ruling doesn't go in our favour then we'll be even worse off than not fighting in the first place! Feel like someones got me by the short and curlies! HELP!!!

Hi there, Firstly let me apologise for the length of this thread!! Hopefully someone will read all of it and be able to help me. I first started writing to Lloyds to reclaim my bank charges in March this year (with the help of this site) sending my first letter demanding my money back. As you can imagine they refused with their standard letter and nothing happened, I wrote again in March and again in April and still nothing happened. I prepared the N1 claim form but due to numerous family problems and money problems which meant I couldn't afford the court fee I never sent off the claim form but now I wish to continue. Could I ask: 1. Should I continue while this test case in in operation or should I wait for the outcome? 2. My local court is Wolverhampton Combined Court and on your list of courts it mentions this court as being 'undecided' as to whether to accept these claims, should I file the claim form anyway? 3. Since my first letter to Lloyds in March, stating the amount I wished to claim, the amount has now risen by another £1,000, do I need to write to Lloyds to inform them of the new amount before I submit the claim form to the court? 4. Along with the N1, I have a Particulars of Claim with Schedules 1 and 2. In 2 where it mentions interest, it seems difficult to calculate the interest. Every time the charges were applied to my account overdraft interest was charged too, but a standard amount depending on the amount of default for want of a better word. Do I total all these listed amounts or is the calculation different? 5. Along with N1, Part. of Claim, schedules and court fee of £120 is there anything else I need to send to the court? and is £120 the right amount if I'm claiming for £2000? 6. The bank never provided me with the copies of my charges that I requested, do I still need them? I have printed off pages from my internet banking which show the charges would this suffice? 7. My husband wants to claim for the charges on his account also with Lloyds. Can he do his first letters to Lloyds and then we submit one claim form for both of us. Or do you have to pay two court fees for two claims because they are two seperate accounts? THATS IT!!! Sorry for all this but I just don't know where to go from here.
