Don't forget that terms and conditions of any contract are subject to all sorts of rules and it is not possible for a company to contract out of certain obligations.

For instance, if certain terms and conditions say that a company will Fine you if you don't do something on time – that contractual term is unenforceable.

If a parcel delivery company says that they will only reimburse you to a certain amount of money – that contractual term is unenforceable and you should disregard it.

Do not feel bound by a company's terms and conditions – even though you accept it. Even though you agree that you have read them and accepted them.

They must all comply with the requirements of fairness under the Unfair Contract Terms Act 1977 or with the unfair terms provisions of the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Also, there are provisions which protect consumers and Companies who try toSign you up to a contractual term which effectively excuses them from that contractual obligation are acting contrary to law and those terms are unenforceable.

All terms and conditions of any contract are subject to the overriding effect of Parliamentary legislation and also to ordinary contract law – apart from anything else.
