Distance selling

BankFodder
The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 require traders to give you certain information. The Regulations came into force on 13 June 2014 and apply to contracts entered into on or after that date.
The distance selling rules give you a 14 day cooling off period – which is basically a right to return goods for any reason. When you return goods, you are entitled to a full refund including the costs of returning the Items.
There are certain exceptions – in particular where you have ordered goods which have been custom made for you.
