  1. I live in Bedfordshire- the court is Bradford I'm not sure about the ccj
  2. I know I've lurked around here long enough on and off over the past year or so to know that - which is why he got what for the following week when he tried to do same thing! I was annoyed at myself for doing it but I had guests and wanted shot of him! Can I ask to change the court as its in Bradford?
  3. Hi Today I received in the post a letter from Howard Cohen & co stating that they enclose an application for charging Order with interim charging order. This is for an old debt that I have for a HSBC loan, for which I received a ccj for in June 2012. The form received from them is a copy of N86, it states that the judge considered the application on the 21st October and the application will be heard on 17th December. The thing is I thought I was actually paying a small amount off of this each month, but today I discovered that although I had gone on to their website in July to set up a payment plan I needed to get some more information and then went back on, however I stupidly had set up a payment plan for an outstanding phone bill with Lowell instead of going back onto HC ( I know my brain hasn't been in gear this year!) So all the while I was receiving letters to ask to pay from HC I ignored them thinking they were just asking me to pay more! I'm not quite sure where to go from here with this, I called and spoke to a lady today who did seem to be understanding and could see that I had gone onto the website, but after asking the questions she said that there was nothing that can be done as I haven't made any payments , but I can do that now but the charging order will still go ahead. The thing that annoys me is that I had a lovely debt collector of theirs on the doorstep last year who said I had to pay him £125 before they would allow me to set up any sort of payment plan... .. Which I stupidly paid and then went to set up the payment plan I've read a previous thread on here about the same thing but it's about 5 years old and I didn't want to follow those guidelines in case they're out of date Any advice or guidance anyone can give would be really appreciated
  4. Hi guys, Thanks for your help, the bank said that as long as we provide the auth codes they should refund the money, but they refuse It's for a bus ticket rebel11 I wasn't aware of chargeback, is there a time limit for it? I'll get that done now Thanks again
  5. Hi I wonder if anyone could give me some advice? My daughter has an Arriva M ticket app which she uses to buy a monthly ticket on her phone. In December the app was upgraded, when she bought her new ticket at the end of December the app kept crashing, she tried to buy her ticket 4 times without success, however when she checked her bank account the next day the money had been taken each time at £73.80! We've been fighting with Arriva ever since, provided authorisation codes from the bank, bank statements to show the money has been taken out, her last 4 of her bank card and phone number, they refuse to provide a refund even though the evidence is there, stating they can't find the transactions on their system. I've tried to call several times to discuss but their staff are rude arrogant and just argue with you What can I do to get her her refund back it's quite clearly come from her account but the refuse to pay her the money back
