finally after all these months charge refund is actually in my bank account result!!!!

need urgent advice on where i stand waiting for money to be paid into account as now settled with halifax they said it will be in the next 5 days. will they pay me or with fridays ruling refuse to pay what they have agread.

I've won Halifax has settled in full including court fees

How long are you claiming for , mine is from 1999.

ARe you going for contractual or the 8%.

i am going for the 8% can you clarify for me what is contractual interest

they settled me just after they filed the ackonolidgement, they sent a letter 4 days later that it wasn't there fault and without admitting liabillity that they would pay me up (including intresst and court fees) within 5 days. the money was in my account the same day!

trust me you wont be going to court. my advice is get some holiday brochures and get ready to book within the next 12 days!

the banks are on there arse, ur cruising!

Hi again spoke to someone in customer services yesterday she made me a higher offer which i rejected I have looked on my statement today and the cheek of i halfax have made a payment into my account but less that the last offer any suggestions what i should do.

well i've gone through the motions but unlike a lot of halifaxers they have not really tried to negotiate a offer with me.

well done for some reason halifax don't seem to want to haggle with me iam at the stage where they have acknowledged my court claim do you know why they settle with some customers and not others i am only claiming about £1400.
