  1. :Dwell well, guess what happened this morning - not sure if this has happend to any one else but HSBC upped their original offer!! after i sent mondays(10th sept) letter back rejecting their first offer saying i would accept their original offer ONLY as part payment , they have offered me almost the full amount (minus what it would cost me to take them to court basically) so... thats me a happy bunny then! anyone else have a second bit at the cherry off them?

     

    the time scale has been really really fast too, my prelim letter was sent only 4 weeks ago!!!!

     

    SO, as soon as the monies cleared i will be donating something via paypal -thank you very very much to all who have contributed to this site.:grin: :grin: :grin:

  4. typed my letter today stating that i accept only as part payment thier offer and that i will be persuing the full amount via the courts thanks very much for the confidence to this gained only by others on this site posting their progress and messages of encouragement!

    when i win i will be donating also

  5. received an offer this morning in the post for £1700 which is not too far short of my total £2200 with interest 2450 so what should i do do you think? accept as part payment? if so how long do they take to pay? or accept as is - same questino how long till they pay up?

  6. hi pigdog im not an expert on this but from what ive read, my beleif is, that you charge them the 8% interest on the whole amount claimed for. The HSBC seem to think that they can rip you off for your £80 notes plus your lost interest that they have taken from you over the last 6 years, also i think you need to add any charges you have encured since sending your reply for your mcol application, just add it to the top of the data base spread sheet.
