Companies House have given Shakespeare Martineau the job of collecting the penalty. It was was a late filing penalty that I was appealing as it was not clear I had been late, there is a half decent case to at least have the penalty reduced.

I made the appeal to Companies House and heard nothing back, now a letter from Shakespeare Martineau.

IS this enough info?

I have a penalty that I was in the middle of appealing with Companies House through via email (the only option they give).

Sent the appeal, heard nothing back and now a "scary" letter from Shakespeare Martineau telling me to pay it or arrange payment (on the day the letter arrived), or I'll be in court.

Annoying as Companies House don't send letters anymore to save the planet (but their subcontractors do?)

Anyway, not sure what to do?

Need advise.
