You can't "claim" NI contributions as such.

 

While you're working you would probably have been paying them direct from your wages. If you claimed certain benefits you might have received credits. What effect this would have on you should you return to your home country would depend on what country that is. Some countries (mainly those within the European Union) have arrangements with the UK that would mean NI you paid here would count towards your state pension in the other country.

Hey have been in this country for the past 3 years have been working on and off while doing my studies. I just wanted to find out if there is any possibility of claiming some of national insurance contributions since and going back to my home country thereby making my future pension contributions void.
