If the decision was to place you in 'WRAG' following your Assessment, Then my advice to you would be that your appeal (GL24) is still awaiting an outcome...
The next step would be to contact the DWP to confirm that your appeal is still awaiting an outcome...
But the fact that they have given you 18 months for your next appointment is a positive sign regarding your appeal....

Had you originally been found 'fit for work' ? because if you had, Then receiving the ESA72 & being placed in the 'WRAG' group would mean that you would have won your appeal and the ESA72 would indeed be in reply to your GL24...

Hi udaymorjaria...
On the Esa 72 that you have received, There are 2 boxes, And one of these boxes should be marked with an cross or tick...
This would explain which group you have been placed into!! WRAG or SUPPORT....
It should also give you a date when your case will next be up for review....
Hope this helps...

By your medical report, I take it you mean the ATOS medical assessment report? You are completely in your rights to request a copy of this report, You will not be seen in a bad light by the DWP..
I requested a copy of my ATOS assessment report Just before Christmas & then again on the 17th February, And I am still waiting...
Good Luck

Sorry to be a pain again, hopefully after this I should stop with all the questions
I was just wondering, what letters should I have received regarding ESA? As I said in another thread I was placed in the support group, and found that out from the letter informing me of a change in my benefit levels due to my medical. (And a further change in April due to inflation adjustments)
I've tripled checked the letter today, but nowhere does it mention I no longer need to send in sick notes, which seems to be odd- is that just a common thing, they just don't tend to mention it? Even before I sent off my ESA50 last year I knew from looking online those placed in the groups wouldn't have to send notes, so it seems odd. My last note runs out at the start of March, so I'm just a little worried about human/administration error.
And would the DWP inform my GP of the decision to place me in the group? I'm going to try and see her this week (B12 anaemia seems to be back) and I was just curious about if she'd know already.
One final thing- I was told on here requesting the medical report would be a good idea- how do I go about this- and if I do it won't be seen in a bad light by the DWP will it? I don't want to be seen as meddling or any such thing...
I suggest you contact your doctor, As it is very likely that the DWP has written to your Doctor about you being placed in the support group.....I was placed in the Work related activity group (WRAG) And I had also wondered about sending in sick notes. At the time I had a sick note that was due to end, So I went to see my doctor, Who advised me that the DWP had been in contact with her and that there was no need to issue anymore sick notes for me due to me being placed in the WRAG group..

Hi udaymorjaria,
Try not to worry! At least you know that the D.W.P have received your GL24. So at least that is one thing that you do not have to worry about!
Just remain calm & patient, As the appeal process can take a while before you hear the outcome..
Remember though, You can always phone the D.W.P to find out how things are progressing with your appeal, As I found it was always good to remind them that I was awaiting a decision...
Take Care
