  1. Hi there - stick to your timetable to give them the opportunity to refund. After the 14 days go straight to court (or Moneyclaim).

Just follow the plan and be patient. I know it's difficult to hold back but you will reap the benefit of sticking to the plan.

    Thanks mate.

I will wait until the 14 days are up.

  2. Hi guys,

NatWest have replied to my LBA with the usual, i.e. they will not refund the charges.

I sent them the letter on Saturday 10th June. I received a reply on Tuesday so it didn't take them long obviously. Should I know wait the full 14 days and start legal proceedings on the 24th?!

    Please advice.

    Thanks in advance.

Hi all, sorry for the bother but I am desperate for an answer to this question.

    Any ideas?

  3. Just to let you know that I received a cheque from Cobbetts this morning and they have paid in full.

People it DOES work - keep at it - they won't take you to court because its cheaper to pay you out.

Thank you to everybody who helped me and I will make a donation today.

    Hi mate,

    A quick question.

How long did the entire process take? I mean how many days from the day you completed your moneyclaim application to the day you received your refund?

    Thanks mate.

  5. No worries the template for the Particulars of Claim is in the Bank Templates section and you can update the amount on the Moneyclaim website to reflect what you have been charged up to date. hth

Thanks for the speedy reply mate. I have noticed in your signature it states that the LBA (Letter Before Action?) was sent on the 13th of May. Presumably you're still waiting for a reply?!

The reason I mention this is because I sent my own LBA last Saturday and TODAY I received Stuart's infamous letter telling me to shove it.

    Something dodgy is going on.....

  7. If you read the step by step guide in the FAQ's section it will explain to you what action to take next.

    Hi mate,

Yes sorry, I've done that already and I am currently completing the online form on the moneyclaim website. I have reached step 5 of 8 but I am unsure as to what to put in the "Particulars of claim" section. I read somewhere that there is a template but where to find it?!

Also, I have to state the amount claimed but I have been charged again by Natwest, that after sending them a list of charges. Do I add the new charges or should I stick with the original amount stated in my letters to Natwest?

Your advice would be much appreciated.

  8. Greetings all.

After sending the second letter to Natwest (the one threatening legal action if charges are not paid back in to my account), I received their reply this morning. Basically they've told me to p**s off as they will not be refunding any charges.

What to do now?! How do I start legal proceedings?! I am totally confused!!! Please guide me!

    Thanks in advance.
