my nearest branch was in my hometown of bury but since their problems and redundancies its now closed down and my account has been relocated to nottingham which is about 100miles away now

to my regret i took out a welcome loan about 8yrs ago and have topped it up a couple of times.I was a bad mistake i know and am now paying the price.

last week i got the usual statement from them and to sy i was shocked would be an understatement.my monthly payment was £250 BUT nearly half that was interest or "Capitalisation" as they call it.

in the last year i have only reduced the loan by about 60% of what i have actually paid to them.

im sure there is something not right about this.Stupidly i hid the paperwork from my wife so she wouldnt get wind of this but she now knows and wants to help sort things out.

anybody any advice for me as imsure that im paying more than i should

Something good came out of this as i relieved loads of pressure form myself by not keeping it secret and coming clean to wife

i want to check for two things

1) mis sold loan from welcome

2) credit card charges from cap 1 and vanquis

problem is i finished with the credit cards about a year ago and have no details or account numbers

the welcome loan was from ages ago(still paying off ) but i hid the paperwork from my wife and cant find it

can i get the info for both as i want to pursue these items,any advice please
