Hi, sent off my request for Abbey credit card statements, but sent it to Abbey address. Should I have sent it to MBNA, if so does anyone have their address as I don't want to wait 40 days to be ignored because I have sent it to wrong address.:idea:

Just thought you might be interested to know that FD have been very quick so far with me. Couriered statements arrived after a week, put in a refund letter and one week later an offer was made. Not enough and trying to say the returned direct debits were not allowable which I believe they are, so have given them a further week to respond. So, so far so good!

Thanks bjberry will send it off today, but do I then have to give them another 14 days to respond?

Thanks, so you think I can reclaim for returned direct debit charges as this is £1283 so not wanting to miss out obviously. Are you sure?

I simply phoned First Direct to ask for my statements and they sent them to me within about 10 days by courier, no charge. Then I sent them a letter with a spreadsheet requesting a refund and now they have replied. Look in the library on this site for suitable letters and spreadsheets.

I am with FD and asked by phone for the statements. They came about 12 days later by courier, no charge, no problem, so am writing now to reclaim so we shall see
