hi all. i was also at court on 17th. I'm gonna wait for the 28 days to pass,(14 aug?),then I'll ring the courts and find out what the 'eck is going on, always thought abbey would drag it out,never thought the judge would.wish oft would say pay up,judges would know what to do etc started this in jan,so patience appears to be a virtue!

ps,maybe i am paranoid

hi rose,had the same thing few weeks ago, child ben didn't clear on monday,has cleared on mondays for 16 years,phoned abbey and was told technical error,will clear next day,asked if it was because i'm taking you to court? cause not,yeah right.spoke to some mums,just me. tried to mess up paypal aswell.got wages paid in,couldn't get it out,another technical problem, think my acc has a black mark for bad behavior. naughty abbey!!

ps if this goes to trial I will contact the Southend Echo as any publicity is good,(bad for abbey) and hopefully encourage others to do the same and get their money back too!!

hi all, just returned from court, judge dudley seems a nice man, I was told hold up due to no schedule of charges received, the judge said I assume you sent them statements highlighting the charges, I said yes judge, send them twice, took my folder but no-one asked to see anything. one assumes that the lady sitting next to me with the clipboard was abbeys representative. The judge gave 28 days to abbey, if nothing progresses then he will take it to trial but expects abbey to settle before. looks like abbey are trying to take the mick. don't think the judge likes abbey much. seems to be on our side. hi everyone. not sure, what paperwork are we supposed to take? court have the photocopies of statements and correspondence.do we list all in chronological order and mention the money programme and oft investigation with our opinion on why banks are dispropportionate. we really should meet up and swap notes about this.forum 17th or costas/starbucks on the day? bon x

read somewhere this is a "what to do next"hearing,looked on search for allocation hearing. gonna get bundle ready and take it just in case but this doesn't seem to be the one where we should get our money. Am gonna email inga and see if i can tempt her with settlement.

letter from court, stating that allocation and case management conference? will take place 17 july at 11am before judge. I should attend. may be released to another judge or court. Bit confused again. is this the day of judgement? I'm going to contact inga for early settlement, anyone got any tips please? many thanks bon

hi ICY,thought about inga, claim is for £1792 + £220 costs so wasn't sure how much to settle for. Offer a settlement minus costs or go to court,that's the question.

Hi everyone, won't type the whole story,on previous links, My case stayed until 27 june.Was a bit confused about what it all meant. Spoke to a very helpful clerk at county court,checking on what's happening with my case.The courts have so many cases filed they're going in a big pile to be reviewed by judge together. She will then make the orders for everyone to appear in court.So should have my court date in the next 3 weeks. Was so happy when clerk said they receive hundreds of claims weekly,hope everybody wins and we get our money back. Was getting a bit despondent about it all taking so long but can't wait for court now, £2,000.00 not much to a bank but means a lot to me. Gonna get my bundle sorted,open a new account and pray i'm not gonna lose. be just my luck. thanks james33, have done all the usual letters etc (details on previous posts) owe me £1572 plus total £220 costs = £1792. Q: should I settle or pursue in court? Started this Jan, taking forever!!! Any advice out there much appreciated Bon x x
