Her main worry is that because she works with vulnerable children and serious issues with bullying, alcohol and such like happen and different government bodies investigate, this person may write things down to pass the blame onto my gf

My girlfriend has been on holiday this week but after talking to a work mate it seems they have a new manager. They are making notes of everything you do and say without anybody being allowed to see what is being written down, does my gf or anybody else who works there have the right to see the notes? Her concern is that if anything happens the notes could be used against her and she would have no idea that what is written down, is what she actually said

While I'm waiting for an MRI re my sciatica that I've had for nearly two months now and in the past I decided to see a Chiropractor and have a consultation and xray. It picked up a couple of things so I decided to go ahead with treatment with them for now using a payment plan where I pay by DD monthly in advance for cheaper total price. In total they want to see me for 3 months and I paid this months amount by card there and then, the 2nd payment by DD will be due in 4 weeks. Now the Chiropractor seems good and he really does want me to have the MRI and said that if there is no improvement after a month we should stop anyway. The form was just a normal looking DD form and I was given no contract/paper work or any indication verbally or in writing that canceling at anytime was not allowed. Since I was given no contract/paper work I presume that I should be able to cancel the DD and inform them at any time in the future?

AWC We spoke to the driver when they did turn up yesterday and he said they got rid of a load of staff and doubled the rounds for the remaining crews, hence the terrible sevice

The company I work for has used Veolia to empty our bins weekly for a number of years now. Like you everything was fine until about last September/October then they started changing the dates and times of the collections without informing us as well and some weeks don't come at all. The boss has spoken to them on several occasions but things have not improved

Just to update - Tesco's claim that her contract says final wages are paid on normal pay day +2/3 days. After 17 years she has no idea where her contract is and has just swallowed the £20 bank charge....her choice!. Thanks anyway

Hopefully the bank will sort it but the "breach of contract" bit will be used if we go against Tesco's cheers!!

Cheers I will pass the info on...just so you are aware we don't bank or live together just in case it comes assumed we do in the thread and makes any difference. Are Tesco's in the clear then? in case the bank refuses

Some advice would be great. My girlfriend left her job at Tesco's on the 31st May. She gave notice in writing on 10th May and so gave them 3 weeks notice, but they forgot to put her leaving details into the pay system and only entered the details on the 2nd June, 2 days after she left - their mistake and she should of been paid when she left. As far as she was concerned she assumed they would sort it and her final months money would show up in her bank over this weekend 10th June as this was her normal payday anyway. She popped into the store the other day and got her final pay slip and P45 and they never said there was a problem with her final wage again. Today she has rang the bank and nothing has gone in, but her mortgage has come out causing her to go overdrawn, can she claim the overdrawn charges back from Tesco's

Received a call today from a lady on behalf Olaf Swantee - I will get a full refund and a cheque is being sent out I would like to thank everybody who gave advice here
