  1. I explained all of the above in the first call that they made after I sent the letter informing them of the closure (along with a copy of the form that you send to companies house). Since then, I have received at least a dozen calls to my personal number (which I asked them not to call me on) , sometimes late in the evening or very early in the morning, along with several emails. The people on the phone were quite aggressive saying things like "we know where you live and will send debt collectors round" etc.
  2. Can I jump in and ask for advice from anyone who has dealt with BES. My business closed 3 months ago, a LTD company. The contract was entered into under the LTD company. To cut a long story short, I closed the business, it was insolvent, and applied for the business to be dissolved with companies house, owing some small debts, including about £350 to BES. after months of calls to my personal phone number in which I have made it clear the business is closed and I no longer have the lease or keys to the premises, BES have sent me legal threats/solicitor letters demanding nearly £1000 and threatening to make me, personally, pay the outstanding debt. The letter has only reached me by email (to the email address of the old business) as I no longer have access to the business premises. (The email states that it was sent by post to the old address - they'll have a hard job, the letterbox is sealed shut) So, do I respond to the email threatening to refer to watchdog/Ofgem, UIA for the continued harassment or just ignore the email?
