I'm told to expect one of OH friends round this evening, so I get a load of food ready - chicken strips marinading for grilling later, new potatoes for potato salad, veggies, hardboiled eggs and corned beef, vegetable rice - and just had a call:

"I'm on my way home. You haven't done anything for dinner, have you? Only I've decided I'm going out tonight instead..."

"Oh, no. Nothing really..."

Demon_x_slash sits in the corner on the kitchen floor, shaded blue on one side, cultivating toadstools as the waves of irritation coming off her head begin to burn a hole in the ceiling...

Oooooooooh Demon, you know what to do hun..............

Get everything nicely prepared and cooked, get it all into nice dishes................ and leave it there for him to look at later (serve it up for tomorrow's dinner - it'll keep in the fridge!)

Nowt quite like a nice big guilt trip on him - all stored up for when you want to do something that might just naff him off! ;):D

I've taken Sage Guru Bookvurm's advice and have saved the food for freezing. OH gets home later...

"He'd better watch out, he'd better not cry..." :D

When OH does that to me, I sweetly say "do you want me to warm dinner up for you getting in?".

He's wised up now since I presented him with a steaming bowl of salad ... which he ate.

Didn't have much choice if he didn't want his love spuds made into an attractive pair of earrings.

All help is merely my opinion only - please seek legal advice if you need to as I am only qualified in SEN law.

nahhhhhhhh shes not blonde LOL

how do men develop their tastes for women? my brother has always seemed to prefer blondes and my uncle and now my son (you should see his eyes light up when a blonde girl comes in the room) with the monkey I have put it down to the fact that he has a blonde sister whom he loves to bits so naturally feels good about them,

My brother had the hots for my best friend when we were kids, and she was a blonde.

Or is it something else, perhaps evolution has made men go for the colouring in women that isnt predominately in their family to prevent in breeding.

hmmmmmmmmmmm

I'm quite fond of the Viking/Anglo-Saxon warrior look myself - my OH fits the bill quite nicely. I've already described him somewhere else on here - not gonna do it again. Various threats of kidnap were made. When will all you ladies learn? He's mine. :D
