Hi Herbs,

Is the loan a/c in order or in arrears and have there been any/many missed pay'ts.

If the loan has been serviced properly and you insist on refund of charges direct to you, I bet they'll reduce the amount offered.

We could do with some help from you

Herbs,

I've just read some of your older threads - did you manage to get them to remove the CCJ or is this still an issue.

no i didnt get anything removed. it was a default they have against me. I even offered to waiver the claim if they removed the default, but some smarmy git accused me of bribary. i cant prove that the full amount of the overdraught which led to defaulted loan was due to their charges.so i am resigned to having this default on my record. Apperantly if i settle the loan then it wont look so bad on my credit rating is this correct.
