I complained to the FOS because Nationwide closed my account after refunding me my bank charges.

They've offered me £250 complensation!

I'd like to know if any other people have been offered similar amounts before I accept it.

Many thanks

Hi there

They were wrong to do that and they know it!

I will see what we can find out for you.

Any advice given by me is based solely on my experience in claiming, my experience in CAG or my opinion. I have no legal background. I want to encourage others to reclaim what is theirs.

Got a DCA breaking OFT guidance. Complain to the OFT about the DCA. Help put an end to these practices-

Hi

Took some advice on this. Apparently, £250 is not bad. First cases we heard of were offered £125.

Remember, they have to pay a fee to OFT for the investigation, so they are down on that.

If you are out of pocket as a result eg charges applied to other accounts due to them having closed your account, you could try to quantify that to them.

Good luck!!
