And now onto number 5 on list,Scotcall in Glasgow, never really caused me that many problems in our relationship over the years to be honest. But in for a penny in for a pound,CCA request sent, more waiting and we will see what we see with this one :)

Yep, now you are gaining experience, might as well ensure EVERYONE has their paperwork in order.

With all the help and guidance yourself and Rory and all the other great peeps on this site have given me,i do feel a lot more in control, and yep that paperwork needs to be correct doesn't it ;)

As soon as I started quoting the law to Scotcall they backed off and passed everything back to Cabot - even though they were still in default of a CCA request.

  • Barclays: WON!!! It took four months but was totally worth it!
  • Cabot: I'm still waiting for an enforcable agreement, more than a year after requesting it. Go on, Uncle Ken, take me to court if you dare. You know you want to!
  • Elephant.co.uk: VICTORY - they admitted there was no debt!
  • Ashbourne Management (gym membership): Finally got my default removed and out-of-court settlement; I'm not finished with them yet!

HAVE YOU BEEN TREATED UNFAIRLY BY CREDITORS OR DCA's?

Scotcall passed all of my papers back to their client "debt managers". They didn't/couldn't provide the CCA ;)

Haven't heard a peep since!!!

jaxads

Halifax - £2281, successfully refunded all charges after LBA letter & telephone call.

Have been offered the difference between the £20 and £12 charges from Capital One -- am sending LBA for remainder.

GE Money - Received settlement of £441, being total charges requested. No interest though.

CCA'd Bank of Scotland / Blair Oliver Scott to produce CCA Agreements on two Credit Cards - well in default, although still chasing payment!!!

EOS Solutions "ceased action on account" on behalf of a friend.

All in all, quite busy at the moment and enjoying every minute of it
