Please can someone help me!

I think ive missed the boat on claiming unfair bank charges for barclays what with the updates ive read and though i would still try and claim my charges back from my credit card.

So, I have just phoned mbna to request the last 6 years statements and they have said it will cost me £2.50 per statement I need which they calculated at £165! Are they serious?

Obviously I didnt order my statements at that price. Is there anything I can do?

Please can someone advise what to do? Can they really charge that amount??

Many thanks

Thanks for quick reply. I find this sort of thing really stresful, but needs to be done! do you think it's too late to send letter to Barclays as I already have statements and charges add up to £900 although i have an overdraft with them of £16oo which is full?

Many thanks

Ditto to what Ben above has said......(not the Judge Dredd part though!)

AS for Barclays, I think you should open up a thread in the Barclays forum (if you have already then sorry!) My concern would be here: You have an overdraft and if you send the prelim letter and LBA they could retaliate and withdraw your overdraft facility....I do not wish to scare you.... Barclays experts will point you in the right direction.... good luck with it all though......

I won against MBNA, Nat West , Barclays, Barclaycard and PPI payments from Barclaycard

Abbey National still to go.... what will I do with my spare time?
