Im Sorry if this is the wrong place to vent my anger at Barclays but i've got to share it.


I went to a cashpoint on Friday and withdrew some money but the cash machine developed a fault after giving me my card back. It displayed a message saying my account wouldn't be debited.


I thought i'd double check and went to a cash machine next door. Low and behold my account was minus the transaction!!!


I needed some money and luckily i had enough at the time to get buy. But if it was at the end of the month i would have stuck and would have gone into the red and been charged through the roof for their error!!!


I phoned Barclays and after a 15 minute wait i was told my account would be credited the next working day. I tried to explain what would have happened if i didn't have sufficent funds but it fell on deaf ears.


The worst bit is the machine carried on as normal and after one woman had the same problem i waited around as long as possible to warn others.


With all thats going on with unneeded charges at the moment i would have thought they would have a better way of dealing with situations like this.
