OK, I've finally joined up and I'm trying to help my mum get her bank charges refunded as she's had to really struggle with money in the past because of them to the point of her being in tears. I know that I have to send the subject access request letter to Natwest along with £10 fee but could someone please give me the correct address as there are two on the natwest contact information thread. Also, what form of payment do you use to send the £10 fee? I know I probably sound like a complete thicko but this is all extremely new to me and I don't want to make any mistakes. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance :-)

Thanks alot for the reply, I thought the address was the one you posted but was unsure because I got THIS address when I did the search. Another couple of questions, do I send a cheque from the bank I am contacting and also, who do I make the cheque payable to? Thanks once again, your help is greatly appreciated :)

The address to send the SAR is:

Retail Regulatory Risk

2nd Floor

Cornerstone

60 South Gyle Crescent

Edinburgh

EH12 9WF

Make the cheque payable to 'National Westminster Bank' - doesn't matter which bank the cheque comes from as long as you enclose the £10 payment.

Best of luck ;)

When I took on Nasty Westy I sent S.A.R - (Subject Access Request) to branch with Postal Order (this was returned) as they said it was not required and they sent me all my statements. Then I sent prelim and the rest to Head Office address. Wink1.gif This ploy has also worked for me twice with Halifax.

Read up as many threads as you can, both current ans ** won ** you will learn a lot ( I did ) also follow all the all the advice from all here. a084.gifa084.gifa084.gif There are lots of friendly helpful folk around. Any questions just ask even if they seem stupid. We have all been there. especialy follow Hedgys advice ( looking good in her new incarnation ).attention9ha.gif

and most of all stick to YOUR timetable it`s your mums money that you are trying to get back.
