Not sure this is the right thread but as it was the cause of the situation thought you might want to know an effect.

 

SDFS, the debt hit men for Littlewoods have written the following in response to my earlier letter requesting that they cease & desist' processing my data as Littlewoods have admitted they can't produce the signed credit agreement & will not be pursuing the debt.

 

They will continue to process my data as they are a member of Credit Account Info Services - a database administered by 'Experian'. They go onto state that as I was a customer of theirs (No contest my wife was) it is clearly stated on their literature (catologues) & website that by ordering goods & services from them I'm effectively giving them permission to register & share my data with third parties.

 

They also state that the 'rhubric' (rubric - I think the term out of place) forms part of their terms of trading and by trading with them I am deemed to agree with those terms - GUS shopping is registered under the DPA to perform this

 

Advice, comments suggestions welcome
