I am posting on behalf of my Mother. She has sent the first letter back to CAP ONE and they have replied with a letter only stating that they have reviewed there fees and have reduced them to £12. They state that she signed an agreement when she took the card out, agreeing to the fees of £20 for late payments.

They have stated in the letter that as a goodwill gesture, they have offered the difference between the £20 and the £12, this totals £88.

They have not included any statements in the letter. They says she is to sign and return to accept the gesture.

What is the next step? Considering they have not sent the statements?

Thanks in advance

Hi Tony

Did you send a full S.A.R.?. The reply is a standard one most of us have had. You should send a full S.A.R. with the £10 fee to get your paperwork from them.
