I am about to send an SAR letter to the Nationwide. About a year ago, they refunded £110.00 of penalty bank charges at my request because I was struggling.

When I get my statements and send a Prelim letter I will obviously deduct this sum from my calculations. However, do you think the fact that they made this gesture in the past that I am not entitled to claim the remainder which I estimate to be about £3k?

Can anyone advise please?

Hi, when I received my SAR it stated clearly which charges had already been refunded so just exclude these from your spreadsheet. You are entitled to claim back all the rest. Have a good read of these threads and follow all the rules there is some great advise. keep us updated of your claim:p
