Hi folk, I have spent ages reading and have just started listing the charges after getting the statements, following a DPA letter.

The account, has been an interest current account, royalties, then royalties gold and is now back to the basic. I am still unsure of which charges I can add to the list and which I cant. I know that the fee for royalties is justified, however its not listed as that. Its usually ...chg to 27 a/c ****** £40.00, I retreived a slip and its made up of £28 maintenence and £12 fee. (Royalties Gold are currently £12.) So should I break down down the £40, keep the 40 or put that down to bad management on my part! There is usually three charges in a row.... Int(erest), chg and then a second chg which is overdraft/loan protection.

It follows a pattern, getting a referral or unpaid charge of £30 and then the 3 charges int, chg(£40) and chg

TIA

Doing the spreadsheet has been a revalation, the total taken from account by RBOS in a single month, just over £449. This surely is a record!

Its utterly depressing.
