Just to let you all know IM taking SS to court as they chose to take the money ( 14.99) out of my account when I had cancelled during a free trial.It also bounced my account netting me another 30 in charges. ( of course im claiming these back)

 

Also told them theyd be liable for my costs. And an hour at the court hourly rate from trying to sort this mess out.

 

Ive never dealt with a more incompetent company ( ok maybe I have) so I do suggest to everyone that is victim to this sort of [problem] to report to trading standards and to go for the court jugular, its the only language these muppets understand :rolleyes:

Yeah I had a similar problem with them. Except I signed up for a free trial and they immediately tried to take £30 off my credit card. Luckily my card company phoned me to ask if this was right.

 

I did send a letter of complaint to them but didn't hear a thing back.

See my thread further down I was a member for over 12 months and cancelled when I cancelled I returned the 3 dvds ive had and hadnt heard anything from them for over 6 months (they had phone,address and email) then earlier this week I got a DCA letter for £60 on behalf of SS saying that I still had the DVDs, SS had been in touch and i'd ignored them (they havent and I didnt) so stinking letter back to the DCA threatening SS with court funny still not heard anything back from them, idiots!!

I havent sent the LBA etc, as trading standards said that I didnt need to,

 

Ive had umpteen emails back and forth and spoke to them on the phone. They have said that they will refund, they didnt, TS said give them 7 days to pay if they have admitted liability ( they have via email) and if not then start proceedings.

 

So I will :)
