So if the court has throw out the defence, you have had judgement in your favour, yes?

before they can try to get it set aside - ring the court and ask if you should now go for the warrant of execution -

now, who did i do this for ......chipper99?

found it!

read this:default judgement in

the second option is a letter which has your name on it - write it tonight to dg - the warrant of execution option. i think that's just what you want isn't it - letting dg know what's going on - giving them the chance to pay up without you going for the warrant which will (i think this is correct) go on a record as a judgment against them - they will pay up - throw in a little about what the woman said - say you are just waiting for the paperwork but giving them the opportunity to avoid the hassle of the execution by paying up - now - i'm not sure i'd give them 7 days - i think i'd give them until the close of business on maybe wednesday.

look ok?

are you kidding - i live on here it seems - maybe was on a potty break!

or sat night in pub.

i'm sure they will try to get it set aside -

follow what's going on on this thread - it's similar - Court case , please help

maybe ring the court tomorrow and ask them how best to proceed -

that suggested letter was before the oft thing and now they seem to be trying for stays and set asides in every case - just try to keep on top of it - keep the court on your side and hope dg sees sense and pays up.

if you need to find them - there are a couple of settled cases numbers on auburngreeneyes thread - they are good proof that dg is still settling claims when pushed into the corner -

  • 2 weeks later...

The next chapter in my ac,s I received a letter from DG on two of my ac,s saying they were going to apply for a set aside order and enclosed a copy of their N244 application this is dated 20th Aug and signed by naomi wharton who has also done the witness statement .they have also included a draft order, but that is not dated or signed ,to get the case stayed.Do i now ring the court and ask them if they have done this or do i wait for the court to contact me? the other ac that was due to be struck out on the 17th aug .DG sent me a letter on the 15th saying the would be applying for a stay, again do i wait or check as i have heard nothing on this one either.Lateralus Lateralus wherefore art thou Lateralus( it does sound a bit Roman dont it)

i think you'll fit right in to the new thread i've just started ...

this is happening to a number of people - i think audreygreeneyes has gotten to grips with the paperwork - try the three links in the thread to see what she's worked up. i think, basically, you need to argue the set aside.

discussion thread - Judgment granted then DG tries it on....
