no i havent

would this work ? my thinking is that they would offer a smaller amount if i contacted them, as it would seem that i did not want to pursue all the way

has anyone else tried this method? i would be grateful to hear from anyone who has

If you have a look at the recent cases with WON in the title, they have all contacted inga kirkman, or clare fletcher or ronan. Why dont you offer them an high amount (just short of your total claim), knowing that they will probably knock it down, then you can enter into negoiations. Look at petcat's thread, her and a few others that have posted on her thread tried this and have had their claims settled.

Court date Sep 03rd

Last week, I offered to accept £750 (claim for £799). Pointed out i would therefore not be claiming for any other expenses that may crop up if it goes to court. (eg court bundle preparation that i understand some people are claiming for).

Had acknowledgement of email, but nothing else so far
