hi after cca'ing a dca they sent me my po back and said that they were sending the debt back to barclays. now they have just sold it to a different dca instead. do i cca them aswell or just a letter telling them that i've already cca'd? or do i send one to barclays telling them to stop selling it ?

sorry if this has been answered somewhere else but i cant seem to find it.

confused x

if anyone could help it'd b great

also if a debt is in arrears but hasnt been sold to a dca yet can i still cca them the same way or only reclaim the charges back? a family member is paying £70 for a cc but the charges every month are higher so her debt is going up instead of down :s

thanks again

you can not 'stop' barclays selling the debt if that is what they are doing.but i doubt it this is the case

they are probably only passing it over for a DCA to collect.

i think once a DCA has brought the debt, it cannot be passed around.

CCA the new DCA, it will probably end up the same game.

about the other matter...i see little point in CCA'ing the original co. but if you can if you wish.

S.A.R - (Subject Access Request) them and get the charges back

that should drop it down below its limit?

you could also request they freeze the interest, they might!

might also be an idea to do a bit of thread reading too.

this forum is a mine of information

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...
