Advice Please,

Phoned the MCOl today and spoke to Becky who was very helpful.

I submitted my claim on the 30th May - Lloyds Entered a defence on the 12th June and on the 22nd it was refered to Chesterfield Court.

I have not received any paperwork or anything from the court.

I have phoned up the court and the case has been refered to a Judge Butler for Special directions which is aparently what they do with these claims at Chesterfield.

I have been told that they are unsure as to when Judge Butler is next in but probably in the Next couple of weeks.

I have a couple of questions that I could do with help on -

1. Is this Usual

2. What usually happens from here

3. Has anybody got any experience of Mr Judge Butler

4. It it right that I feel I have not a clue what is going on!! ;)

All comment welcomed

Cheers

Have you asked the court what is ment by "Special" directions as the term is vague ?

May just be a case of the DJ ordering certain things be done, ie serving of papers etc, and it just sounds scarey.

Don't panic.

Be VERY careful whose advice you listen too

No they did not define what special directions meant.

Not panicing as such - just do not want to be a experiment for a new way of dealing with these claims lol.

Special direcrtions are any non-standard directions. In this case it will almost certainly be the directions as per our draft order.

Assuming it is, see this thread for guidance on how to comply -
