Just looking into my 2 G.e money loans. Got statements for both loans and have around £300 of charges. But I also want to claim the PPI back on the grounds that I was directly told we wouldn't get the loan without it and that no discussion of my pre exisiting condition was done, all loan done via phone and post.

Just wondering should I raise the whole lot as an issue with them together or put in separate claims? Also I note as well as the hugely high PPI upfront lump sum, they have added an extra 2k "brokers fee". I don't remember this being mentioned to me over the phone, surely this seems excessive. Do you think I could claim this back as well?

With Ge Money I would prpbably advise to tackle the PPI as a seperate issue at the momment.

I am currently fighting GE over Mis_Sold PPI and have been since last October, The matter is in the hands of the court at the momment and the trial date has been set for December 2007. It has also been kicked out of Small Claims and placed in Fast Track. I wont go into to much detail at the momment, But GE are fighting my claim in a new manner which if they win could have a lot of implications for GE Staff and any GE agents.

With the above in mind I would claim for your Charges etc seperate from the PPI, You may get your charges back quicker that way, I think GE will try and delay any complaints regarding Mis_sold PPI until after December when My case comes to court.

Hopefully before December though you may be able to read the full story in the National Press..;)

Good luck
