I am just about to start court proceedings against Lloyds, and I have recieved a letter in the post offering me £750 in full and final settlement of my case. I don't want to accept this as my claim is over £4000. It looks as if I don't have a choice as they are paying it into my bank account automatically.

What do I do now? Shall I just adjust the amount of my claim by £750? Will it affect my claim?

They cheeky beggars also gave my partner a full refund without us even asking for it!! (it was a small account as he's only had it for a while)

Any advise you can give will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you I have taken the letter and will use it.

BUT - One question, I havent' actually started the legal proceedings, shall I amend the letter to something along the lines of, since you have only send me part payment of my claim, I have no choice but to commence legal proceedings?
