Hi All,

Some time ago I won a claim against Natwest after they settled out of Court.

I have just checked my account and I am £100 O/D even thought I dont have an overdraft due to two charges.

Can I re-issue a claim against NatWest and send an SAR form requesting Statements from Sep 2006 (The last Charge) to the present month?

I have also opened a new account with another Bank, with the intention to close the Natwest account ASAP.

Regards,

Ron

Yes you can claim against them again. In your settlement letter for your first claim they will have stated that you will still be able to incurr charges on your account but this does not stop you claiming again.

Usually for smaller amounts they do tend to settle a little quicker too, usually before having to file through the courts.

Hi Trish,

Thanks for the prompt response.

I was going to be amicable about it and just say that it was a high fee for going 50p over. However, the cocky spotty little git on the end of line had such an attitude. What he was pretty much saying was "Fine, claim against us again, you need to send a SAR request".

Its only about £120 but its the principle of the matter.

Will be opening an account with First Direct and closing my Natwest ASAP.

Cheers,

Ron
