I have emailed T= Mobile, Trading Standards and Consumer Direct

PLEASE HELP

13th June 2007 1pm

Upgraded phone from T-Mobile shop

No advise was given regarding terms and conditions, no tariff/price plan or charges advise.

I have been charged £20 for the monthly line rental. Not received the full allocation of my

£60 allowance.

I called T-Mobile customer services, on 20th June. Within the 7 day cooling off period to revert back to my old evenings and weekend plan.

They refused to put me through to a supervisor, refused me a courtesy callback. Was rude to me. Had no knowledge of company SLA's products.

I received a text saying I had 42 pence left credit, when I should have had £1.67 left deducted from £30 call credit. £20 - £18.33 + £16.37. I revisted a T Mobile branch. The systems said I had arrears. Which is incorrect. Bills are paid on time monthly. You have breached your contract with me, under the Consumer Credit Act 1974. My consumer rights have bene affected, NO customer satisfaction.

I would like my old price plan of free evenings and weekend calls back. If not, I will contact the DTI, Trading Standards, and various Consumer action groups.

Sorry to disappoint, but you don't have a Consumer Credit Agreement (and never had) so there is no breach. However, they to appear spectacularly incompetent at resolving the issue, and without documentation to prove what you signed up for it's only their word against yours - and they've got more computers than you.

Before they default you, you should contract them by writing, rejecting their suggestion of arrears and ask them to provide you with details of the tariff they have you on. If this is incorrect you can get them to fix it, but I do not believe they can move you back to an earlier tariff, especially if it no longer is being marketed.

Hi,

I am trying to work out what you are trying to say.

I assume you upgraded and changed onto a UFix 20 off-peak tariff where you get 450 off peak mins + 50 Texts and you need to put credit on if you wish to use during the day or for any ccalls not included in your allowance.

If you dial 150 and then option 1, then option 1 then option 2 it will tell you your allowance.

It is always best when purchasing anything to find out what you are purchasing including the whole package before you sign up, and then you wouldn't be so confused.

I think you need to calm down and come back to us with what package you are now on, and the full facts, as it just seems that you are venting your frustration on the forum.
